Nesting cumulus cloud

IMG_4981

This is a nice example of an adult white cumulus cloud. It is sitting very low, suggesting that it might still be sitting in its nesting place. I was tempted to go and investigate, since I have always wondered how a nesting place of a cloud looks like and where exactly can it be found. But then, this particular cloud was very big and looked slightly threatening, so I decided to stay away.  Safety comes first when studying clouds!
